Our fireplaces should be installed strictly according to the manufacturer’s installation instructions to ensure safe usage. Improper installation will void the manufacturer warranty. All Gas fireplaces are to be installed by a registered gas practitioner and a compliance certificate must be issued with all installations. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that he/she is supplied with the certificate after the installation has been completed.

Depending on the chosen mounting, most of our fireplaces are very easy to install and can simply be done with the help of a handyman.

Our bio-ethanol fireplaces can be mounted basically anywhere required. Apart from a choice between single sided, double sided or freestanding units, the fireplaces can also be wall mounted, counter top mounted, be hung from a ceiling or be displayed as coffee table centre pieces – not even mentioning the options between the indoor and outdoor models. 

Some of our ethanol units are completely freestanding and portable. They require no fixed fittings, electricity or gas connection. This allows the possession of a fireplace that can easily be transported – even when going on holiday or moving house. They can be arranged with the interior as often as one wishes. It's as easy as adding a piece of furniture to the room.

An existing traditional wood fireplace can conveniently be transformed into a work of art by merely mounting a biofuel or gas fireplace in the existing cavity. Please view our gallery for images of how traditional wood fireplaces have successfully been converted to biofuel / gas fireplaces.

Due to the fact that our biofuel fireplaces are completely vent free, there is no need to install a flue or venting system.
