The Lacunza Itaca is the most powerful Lacunza fireplace available in South Africa, designed for large open spaces that demand serious heating performance. Available in two impressive sizes, the Itaca 1000 (9–17 kW) and Itaca 1200 (10–18 kW), this fireplace delivers unmatched warmth and efficiency.
The Itaca features a unique vertical sliding glass door, operated by a smooth counterweight system. This allows effortless opening and closing while showcasing an unobstructed view of the flames, up to an incredible 1200 mm wide.
To maximise efficiency, the Itaca comes standard with a powerful convection fan. This system draws cool air from the room, channels it around the fireplace, and circulates heated air back into the living space, ensuring fast and even warmth. For convenience, the Itaca is equipped with wheels for easy positioning and adjustable legs that lift the unit once in place.
As with all Lacunza fireplaces, the Itaca is backed by an exceptional 10-year warranty and meets and exceeds the Eco-Design 2022 requirements, ensuring outstanding efficiency and environmental responsibility.
Important installation note: The Itaca requires a power supply for the fan and two air vents in the wall—one below and one above the fireplace—for optimal airflow and performance.
